During my Writing for Digital Media course, we reviewed a wide range of definitions and perspectives on the concept of “digital media.” Our first project was to create a multimodal composition that defined what “Writing for Digital Media” meant to us.

Building off of the wise words of Kwame Ture, I developed this website which featured interactive elements.

I first defined several related terms and ideas using course materials and original research, then built upon them to demonstrate my conceptualization of this type of composition.

Incidentally, the guiding concept for this portfolio — Create + Remix + Share — comes directly from this project.

Dr. VanKooten has used this website as a student example during subsequent course.
