Evolve: Pontiac is a three-episode podcast series that weaves the archival material of the Pontiac Oral History Collection with contemporary interviews to tell the story of the city of Pontiac.
As part of a team of five other students, I collaborated with them to develop the series concept, episode themes, and arrange contemporary interviews.
This specific episode focused on Community. As the primary producer, I wrote the script, identified appropriate archival material, interviewed contemporary community leaders, coordinated narration recordings, and edited the final product.
Preserving this oral history collection and sharing it with the community is an ongoing project. I continued working on it as a research assistant during my Capstone in Professional and Digital Writing.
